Our Lanesboro location is guided by our local President and Community Advisory Board, made up of local community members and business professionals.

Community Involvement
Being a community leader is who we are. Our team volunteers thousands of hours each year in leadership and education roles in addition to local events.
Our local team is proud to sponsor the Lanesboro Walking Tour with the local Chamber of Commerce each year, the historic Commonweal Theatre, the Teacher’s Breakfast at the beginning of each school year and host the annual community picnic. These activities and more make our community a family.
Lanesboro joined the Merchants Bank family in 2013 as part of an acquisition from Associated Bank, which included the location in Lanesboro and another in Rushford, MN.
Since Lanesboro’s founding, our bank location has been the only one in town. It was built in 1923 and has been remodeled a number of times.
